About us
The establishment of the Peter Hung Pain Research Institute (PHPRI) is an initiative undertaken by the Faculty of Medicine of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and realized by the generous donation of the H H Hung Charitable Foundation Limited.
The goal of the Institute is to integrate bioengineering in neuromodulation and clinical medicine for the development of novel therapy in the prevention and treatment of pain. The Institute will coordinate interdisciplinary research programs, within CUHK and our sister universities in Hong Kong and abroad; and to conduct innovative research on pain management.
