The CUHK Peter Hung Pain Symposium, titled "Local and Global Insights in Pain Research" was held on 24 November 2024 at the West Kowloon Cultural District. This symposium was part of the Annual Scientific Meeting in Anaesthesiology 2024, organised by the The Hong Kong College of Anaesthesiologists and The Society of Anaesthetists of Hong Kong. 

Featuring esteemed speakers from Japan, China, and Hong Kong, the symposium showcased cutting-edge research and innovative approaches in pain management. Presentations highlighted the latest advancements in different regions, shedding light on novel treatment modalities that inspire ongoing research and development. The discussions encouraged participants to explore new avenues for research and innovation, emphasizing the potential for transformative impacts on patient care.
